Brush gestures slither, unhinging the laws of nature and washing into unsteady perspectives, while their delicate abraded surfaces oscillate between fine-pored sculptures and destabilized veneer. Guided by the compositional structure of the song, the human traces and their overcompensatory displacements appear connected simultaneously to both relief and suffocation. Abogar\u2019s song itself poses poetic realities as an ambiguous state of human consciousness.
