From November 16, 2024 to January 12, 2025, two projects dealing with the medium of drawing will be presented at the Kunstraum Kreuzberg Bethanien in Berlin:
Anonymous Drawings – a project for original drawings curated by Anke Becker, and FILM REEL 2024 with 116 animations from around the world by LINES FICTION – a project for drawings and artistic animations curated by Bettina Munk.

Opening hours:
– Sundays to Wednesdays, 10 AM to 8 PM
– Thursdays to Saturdays, 10 AM to 10 PM

Admission is free.

Saturday, 14th December, 2 PM – 6 PM & Sunday, 15th December, 11 AM – 6 PM: Moving your Drawings
Two-day animation workshop with Aline Helmcke (ahelmcke.com)
In this workshop, the possibilities of bringing drawings to life through movement will be explored. Participants will be introduced to working with analog animation techniques such as traditional hand-drawn animation and stop-motion. The work will be done directly under the camera using pencil, paper, and scissors. Please bring your own drawing materials, scissors, and a smartphone or iPad with the “Stop Motion Studio” app installed.
Participation is free. The workshop will be conducted in German. No prior experience in animation is required.

Sunday, 1st December, 3 PM – 4 PM: Exhibition talk with Anke Becker (Curator of Anonymous Drawings) and Stéphane Bauer (Head of Kunstraum Kreuzberg). Afterwards, until 8 PM: mulled wine and the opportunity to purchase drawings.

Sunday, 12th January 2025, 4 PM – 8 PM: Finissage of Anonymous Drawings and Lines Fiction
